Now Hiring: Hourly Program Tournament and Site Support Specialist

Serve as our program tournament and site support specialist (a contract role) at $21/hr – maximum of 150 hours during the fall semester (October-December).

Activities and Deliverables (“Services”): Specialist shall use their best efforts to support coaches through site visits at practices and assist in tournament operations.

Specialist shall be responsible for assisting with tournament operations and logistics. This can include:

• Kick-off Middle School Programs – including supporting the teacher with the opening meeting, providing logistic support, and uploading forms.
• Provide site visits at high schools and middle schools as they kick off the season; answer questions and support them through their first couple of practices as needed.
• Meet with a teacher before or after their practice to help them plan practice or help them debrief practice.
• Connecting with teachers and answering questions for them during the tournament
• Providing teachers support as they coach their teams at the tournament
• Assisting with food delivery for students at the tournament
• Assisting with tournament tabulation (helping to enter or locate ballots)
• Volunteer support – helping volunteers locate rooms or answer questions
• Logistics support – being a “runner” to open classroom doors, locate judges, or convey tournament information to coaches and participants.

The Specialist will meet with program staff to report on progress and challenges at site visits. This can include:

• Assist in data collection as needed with a portfolio of schools

Now Hiring: Full Time Program Manager

The MNUDL is looking for our next Program Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and implementation of the Minnesota Urban Debate League’s (MNUDL) partner school programs. Working closely with the Program Director, this position collaborates with educators, coaches, students, and community partners to strengthen program delivery, foster meaningful partnerships, and ensure operational excellence across the League’s network of more than 60 schools. Fluency in Spanish is required. This position includes daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
