Introducing the MNUDL Lineal Champion belt!
Lineal championship is a concept borrowed from combat sports. To become the Lineal Champion you must defeat the reigning Champion.
The Lineal Champion Belt may be held by any Minnesota Varsity Policy debate partnership. To win the belt, a team must beat the defending Lineal Champion in one local round.
“I’m the man who beat the man who beat the man, the true linear champion of the world. That in itself is a bigger title than any of those other titles. To be the real champion, you have to beat me.” – Lennox Lewis
Central Max Ulven and Kiernan Baxter-Kauf, Current Lineal Champions
