MNUDL Is An AmeriCorps Volunteer Generation Fund Grantee

Three volunteers listen carefully to a debate

MNUDL is thrilled to be a grantee of the AmeriCorps Volunteer Generation Fund – our first federal grant!

This grant makes it possible for us to hire a full-time volunteer coordinator, provide meals to judges during trainings, give Uber rides for judges who need transportation, and much more. This grant helps us diversify our volunteer pool, ensuring our students are connecting with caring adults and learning from people who reflect their communities.

As an AmeriCorps grantee, MNUDL is obligated to follow various federal policies. In accordance with the AmeriCorps Program Civil Rights and Non-Harassment Policy (11/7/23), MNUDL will follow non-discrimination policies affecting the following federally protected classes or actions:

• Race
• Color
• National origin
• Gender/gender identity or expression/sex
• Age
• Religion
• Sexual orientation
• Disability
• Political affiliation
• Marital or parental status
• Reprisal

Please find more relevant information on the Civil Rights for Employees, Service Members, and Volunteers page, including instructions for how to file related complaints.
